What web accessibility means
Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with a website. It covers a broad range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological.
Our approach
This site is built as a single page using standard, semantic HTML, with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the design target. Specific measures include:
- Text alternatives for images
- A page structure with headings in logical order, navigable by keyboard and by screen reader
- A skip link allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation and reach the main content directly
- Color and type chosen for legible contrast
- Links and buttons labeled to describe where they lead
- Respect for the operating system reduced-motion preference, which disables animation when enabled
- Full content availability when JavaScript is disabled or blocked
This statement does not claim full conformance with any standard. Accessibility work is continuing, and any barrier reported will be reviewed and addressed.
